You can call or text any attending with an issue (probably should pick the on call first though :) I love that we’re attached to an academic institution but we serve a quite often poor and in-need group of kids, and families most often are super grateful for their care. Medicine/Pediatrics Residents

Sara Bonilla-Larsen

Medical School: Wayne State

David Boothe

Hometown: Mentor, OH
Undergrad: The University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!)
Medical School: Penn State College of Medicine
Why LAC+USC: Simply, the mission and the people. I wanted to pursue residency at an institution/program dedicated to pushing medicine forward by actively working to aid those structurally disfranchised with regard to their right to health. I found this at LAC+USC. Coupled with a personable, supportive, and engaged resident and faculty cohort who have the same vision, LAC+USC was an obvious choice for me.

Ahmed Daboul

Hometown: Toledo, OH
Undergrad: The Ohio State University
Medical School: The University of Toledo
Why LAC+USC: For me, the opportunity to be at a mission driven, high volume institution committed to seeing anyone that walks through their doors was a huge draw. This is a program that prides itself on being patient centered, encourages many avenues towards patient advocacy, and honors the dignity of all people, regardless of who they are or where they come from. Being USC it is an excellent place for learning, and of course Los Angeles/SoCal is just a beautiful and fun place to live.
